Desperate Stand Up Rally organizer pleas for media coverage on Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham

Eric Scheidler of Pro-Life Action sent out the following, quite revealing email to his followers, and people like me who masochistically sign up for his emails:
We're in the final push to publicize Friday's Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally in over 150 cities nationwide, and I need your special help one last time.

Today I'm asking you to call your favorite national talk show host -- Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, whoever -- and tell them about Friday's Stand Up Rally.

Even a brief mention of the Rallies on one of those big, national TV or radio programs would be a great boon.

But these talk show hosts are pounded with info every day about topics they could cover. We have to help them see how important Friday's Stand Up Rally is by reaching out to them today.

Please make that call today -- and back it up with an email. If your favorite host is active on Twitter, reach out there, too.

And then please call, email and tweet again tomorrow.

These shows have HUGE reach and could bring thousands more out to the Rally -- and inspire better media coverage overall. But we need to FLOOD them with calls these next two days.

Can I count on your special help today and tomorrow, Steve?

Yours for Life,

-- Eric
It will be interesting to see if this plea for calls works. The most upsetting thing about this is the list of horror show hosts suggested to be contacted. Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham are like a who's who of ignorance and bile. I guess Eric really knows his audience.

  1. the only thing worse than those show hosts are the people who would constantly berate them with spam to get attention. Nobody likes a spammer. If you spend your time sending emails, phone calls and twitter messages out all day to get attention, and then repeat them again day after day, you really need a hobby.

And they can take that info and pound it up their collective asses.
